Tim — Before founding AURA with Elizabeth, I've always been centred around music, creativity and storytelling. I spent many years performing professionally at Weddings and events, alongside producing music, creating visual content and capturing landscapes through drone photography and filmmaking. That passion for creating meaningful experiences naturally evolved into documenting Weddings, where I discovered the perfect blend of emotion, artistry and human connection.
Elizabeth — My journey began in photography, earning both a BA and an MA before going on to lecture photography at University level. My background combines technical expertise with an artistic eye, shaped by years of studying, teaching and refining my craft. I’ve always believed that the most powerful images are the ones that feel authentic, timeless and deeply personal.
TOGETHER
Bringing our individual backgrounds together, we founded Aura Event Visions with a shared vision: to create beautiful, honest Wedding photography and films that feel effortless, elegant and true to every couple. Combining photography, filmmaking and thoughtful design allows us to tell each story in a way that’s both cohesive and deeply personal, while offering an experience that’s as memorable as the final collection itself.
BEYOND WEDDINGS
When we’re not documenting celebrations, you’ll usually find us at home with our three children or making the most of time together as a family. Whether it’s exploring somewhere new, enjoying a day out, travelling, or simply slowing down and appreciating the little moments, those experiences remind us just how valuable memories really are. It’s that appreciation for family, connection and life’s quieter moments that inspires the way we photograph and film every Wedding.
